This boat i wanted to build for a long time, since
Graupner introduced it on the Nurnberg fair 2005.
Because i had my thoughts about the drive system, and off course about the looks.
I had my ideas that the driving system doesn't work on this boat, because of the flex shaft coupling on the axels.
Those are in the same direction and the motors each drive in different ways. Something that doesn't work in practice.
That's the reason for me to show. But offcourse i can be wrong.

The PX-1 racing catamaran is a semi-scale model boat capable of speeds of 40 to 60 km / hr or even more, depending on the motors installed.
The boat can be fitted with SPEED, ULTRA or INLINE motors. The model is a real head-turner with its attractive painted colour scheme and the option of two different decal sheets. The robust GRP hull provides plenty of scope for the experienced racing boat fan to try out his own ideas in the power department, using either one or two electric motors. The suggested motors, shafts and rudder should only be considered as a basic recommendation for a standard version, and variations are certainly possible.

By employing the latest micro-controllers and SMT FETs, and adopting special heat-sinks for cooling the FETs, we have succeeded in building the smallest, ligh-test and most powerful speed controllers for model boats (without reverse function). The controller sets itself up automatically every time it is switched on, and the high pulse frequency ensures optimum efficiency and super-fine control characteristics. |

The hull came in today,
but the motors and speed controlls are in backorder.
Also the air intakes.
so for now i'm wayting tor the first two things so i can begin with the building of this boat.
